We thank these exceptional newly accepted Postulants, outstanding in so many ways and wish them many blessings. Additional celebrations on our weekend will include the Ordination of three of our brothers to Priesthood and the Ordination of two of our brothers to Diaconate. Please join us in prayer for their continued growth in faith and fraternity.

“On Friday evening, 09 May 2008, the brothers of San Lorenzo hosted a gathering for two men who are seriously considering our way of life. The afternoon and evening consisted of a most warm welcome; plenty of conversation time with the brothers; prayer; social and a wonderful meal. The brothers could not have been more open to their guests and we are most appreciative of their kindness.

“As I mention so often, others in vocation ministry are always so impressed regarding the overwhelming degree of involvement in vocation outreach programs and for this, we are very appreciative.

Nicholas Klein (28) who resides in Brooklyn NY. Nicholas has dual citizenship [US and UK] and a graduate of the University of London with a major in philosophy. He is a talented individual who among many projects completed a documentary about charitable giving programs in Africa. He has recently been interviewed on CNN.

Jared Cowell (21) from Brockton MA who, after two years of study at Boston University, is presently a student in the pretheology program at the Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio. He has been very active in his home parish as well as the Campus Ministry programs at BU and Franciscan U. In addition, Jared is a mentor in the Life Teen Program.

“Again, many thanks to all those who made this gathering a wonderful experience!”
